An assortment of 6 tapestry needles ideal for mending stretchy clothing or fine knitwear.

 

Made in Normandy, France in the historic BOHIN factory using nickel plated steel.

 

Tapestry needles have an elongated eye for repairing with thicker thread and a blunt point to avoid snags when weaving through knitted fabrics.

 

Suitable for:

  • darning, patching or embroidery. 
  • mending light-medium weight stretchy, knitted fabrics  e.g t-shirt, cashmere cardigan, leggings, sweatshirt, workout clothing, jersey dress (anything with Lycra/elastane stated on the clothes label).
  • sewing with up to 6 strands of embroidery floss or fine yarn (dependent on needle size).

Min needle length: 3.4cm & max length: 4cm

A larger number = a finer, shorter needle. A smaller number = a thicker, longer needle. 

 

Bohin needles have an exceptional polish for smooth glide through fabric and a fine point to minimize holes.

The eye is polished with a unique process to minimize breaking thread.

The needles have maximum strength with minimum bending.
